Requesting Accommodations
To provide the best accommodation plan, we request that you make an appointment with one of our Accessibility Specialists.

Here are a few ways you can prepare for your first meeting with an Accessibility Specialist:
1. Provide/Prepare Disability Documentation
This will provide a clear diagnosis, disability description and can outline how the disability will affect you academically. Furthermore, it will provide all the necessary information to our Accessibility Specialists to provide a plan suited to your needs.
2. Sponsorship Information (If Applicable)
If you are sponsored through a community agency, please bring documentation and contact information for your agency worker.
3. Past Experiences and Understanding Your Disability
3. Past Experiences and Understanding Your Disability
We ask that students with disabilities that are interested in our service to think about how their disability may have affected them in high school or prior education you have received. We would like to know what was challenging, what worked well, what helped the least, etc. This will greatly aid in our specialist’s ability to provide the proper services.
Academic Accommodation Policy
To provide reasonable accommodations, Red River College Polytechnic staff, students, and faculty must work together to ensure that education is provided to appropriate standards, regardless of one's situation. To maintain transparency and have an equal understanding, we have an Academic Accommodation Policy which highlights the rights and responsibilities of everyone attending RRC Polytechnic.
